Hubbards Barn & Community Park   Hubbards Barn & Community Park

The Hubbards Barn Association is a non-profit organization for the benefit of the community of Hubbards, Nova Scotia and surrounding area. Our purpose is to promote the Barn and its land for community activities, and to maintain and improve the building and property while retaining its heritage value.

Current activities include a weekly farmers' market, gardens and walking paths, venue rentals, and special events like the Hub-Arts Art Show and Sale, and community movies.

The Aspotogan Heritage Trust purchased the Barn and 6 acres of land in the heart of Hubbards, at a cost of $95,000. It was the intent of the AHT to protect and preserve this beautiful and unique agricultural property for use by both the surrounding community and visitors.

The AHT has leased the property to the Hubbards Barn Association, which is responsible for a monthly rent which will be renegotiated each year, operating costs, renovations and development of the surrounding 6 acres as a community park.

The Hubbards Barn Association is a non-profit organization registered with the Registry of Joint Stock Companies. Membership is open to all.  The membership fee is $10.00 per year.
